Dirty Side Digest #5

Rob & Brian play casino inspired games in the latest Rob vs Brian instalment

On the Dirty Side this week…

After appearing on the Midfield Podcast this week and making a bet, we decided to keep the gambling theme going as we fire up the next round of Rob vs Brian.

We decided to go for a few casino style games and a sportsbook bet.

First up is a roulette inspired game where we spin the wheel to select a finishing position between 1 and 20. We then each pick a driver that will finish in that position for the first three races.

Next up is Black Jack where players try to hit 21.

The way we will try to hit 21 is to select our two drivers and sum up the points they win in the race. The nearest to 21 wins the hand but go over and we’ll be bust.

Then we try our hand at the slot machines. These machines traditionally use a row of three 7s to denote the Jackpot.

As luck would have it, Jack Doohan will race using number 7 so we each predict where he will finish across the first three races to try and create our own Jack-pot!

We finish the casino games at the 3 card poker table.

We each try to make a straight by predicting three drivers we feel will finish the races together. If we nail the order then we get a straight flush.

Last but not least we use the Vegas odds to make wagers on underdogs. Which driver will beat their team mate when the odds suggest their team mate will be victorious. There are obviously some closer battles down the grid and some not so close.

That’s it for now, below you’ll find the news & social plus the video vault rounded out by a look at the February F1 Fantasticness bracket in our subscriber only section.
