On the Dirty Side this week…

As always, an off week means we have to think about what we’ll fill the episode with.

The start of a triple header in Imola meant that we knew we’d have a race preview to cover and of course we also needed to update our Casino game picks for this series of races.

This week we saw a great post on Threads from the Paddock Passion account that posed the question, if you were to pick another team to give us an equal number of 12 constructors, who would you pick?

Now, of course this being the Dirty Side of the track we couldn’t just debate our choices.

No way!

We had to make a game out of it. Pieces of folded paper were involved as we are so high tech on this pod.

Anyway, we won’t spoil the outcome but will cover the list of contenders in the marbles section below.

Oliver Oakes resigns from Alpine less than a year in role….

Flavio takes over and drops Doohan for Colapinto. Was it an argument over this that led to Oakes’ resignation?

Stories come out that Oake’s brother has been arrested and could well be connected to Hitech. Oliver reportedly flees to Dubai. More to come on this for sure.

Audi have restructured to make Binotto the head of Audi F1 and CEO Adam Baker has left.

MBS is thinking of scrapping the cost cap as he says he does not see the point of it.

Carlos Sainz Snr is thinking of running for FIA president in the upcoming election

Jochen Mass passed away at the age of 78. He won one GP in his career and had 8 podium appearances
